By booking, purchasing, or using our security services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. SERVICES PROVIDED

DEFEND YOUR EXISTENCE provides professional security services, including but not limited to:

  • Armed and unarmed security officers
  • Event security services
  • Property patrol and monitoring
  • Executive protection
  • Security consulting and risk assessment
  • Emergency response services

All services are subject to availability and proper scheduling.

2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your security needs
  • Provide safe working conditions for our security personnel
  • Grant necessary access to premises and facilities
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Pay all fees according to the agreed payment terms
  • Notify us immediately of any changes to service requirements
  • Not interfere with our officers' duties or chain of command

3. BOOKING AND SCHEDULING

  • All service bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or signed contract)
  • Service times, dates, and officer assignments are subject to availability
  • We reserve the right to substitute officers of equal or greater qualification
  • Minimum service periods may apply depending on the type of service
  • Schedule changes require advance notice as specified in your service agreement

4. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payment is due prior to service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Deposits are required for certain services and are non-refundable
  • Late payments may result in service suspension and late fees
  • All prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes
  • We accept Cash, Mobile payments, ACH / Bank Transfers
  • Outstanding balances may be subject to collection and legal action

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance
  • Late cancellations will be charged the full service fee
  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service cost
  • Emergency cancellations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Long-term contracts have specific cancellation terms outlined in the service agreement

6. REFUND POLICY

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for services rendered or scheduled. Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for complete details.

7. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

Our Liability:

  • We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our operations
  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for losses occurring outside our officers' scope of duty

Your Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DEFEND YOUR EXISTENCE, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or regulations
  • Unsafe conditions on your premises
  • Your interference with our security personnel

8. SECURITY OFFICER CONDUCT

Our security officers are trained professionals who will:

  • Conduct themselves professionally at all times
  • Follow established protocols and procedures
  • Report incidents according to company policy
  • Respect client confidentiality

Officers are authorized to:

  • Observe and report suspicious activity
  • Control access to designated areas
  • Respond to emergencies according to training
  • Detain individuals when legally justified (armed officers only where licensed)

9. CONFIDENTIALITY

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

  • Client information and security arrangements
  • Incident reports and security assessments
  • Proprietary business information
  • Personnel and operational details

You agree to maintain confidentiality regarding our security procedures, officer assignments, and operational methods.

10. INSURANCE AND LICENSING

  • DEFEND YOUR EXISTENCE maintains all required licenses and permits
  • We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance
  • All security officers are properly licensed and trained
  • Proof of insurance available upon request

11. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Acts of terrorism or war
  • Government actions or restrictions
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Labor disputes

12. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if:

  • Payment terms are violated
  • You breach these Terms
  • Unsafe or illegal conditions exist
  • Our officers are threatened or harassed
  • You request services outside our scope or legal authority

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation
  • If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in Florida
  • You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida

14. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

15. LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES

Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will prevent all security incidents or losses.
